San Antonio Spurs summer addition Tobias Harris suffered an injury during training camp and could miss the start of the NBA season, ESPN reports.
The 34-year-old veteran, who signed a two-year, $31 million contract with the Spurs in July, is dealing with a left calf injury and is questionable for the season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Last season, Harris helped his former team, the Detroit Pistons, achieve their best finish in 18 years by reaching the Eastern Conference semi-finals. In the two seasons following his return to Detroit, he averaged 13.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
Prior to his return to the Pistons, Tobias Harris spent five years with the Philadelphia 76ers, having also played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, and Los Angeles Clippers.
