This is how Serbia tragically fell in Romania: Here's how Lapuste downed the Young Eagles at the buzzer /VIDEO/

Everything came down to the final 6.1 seconds after Romania called a timeout. Serbia had failed to capitalize on their previous possession, opening the door for the hosts to snatch a victory.

The ball went to Romania's star player, Sebastian Lapuste, who had been having a phenomenal game. He had already tallied 20 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists by that point.

It proved to be the right decision to put the ball in his hands, as Lapuste coolly dribbled to his spot, shot, and sank the basket. The Serbian players were left dejected, but it must be acknowledged that Lapuste delivered a brilliant shot.

Serbia's final match is against Poland, scheduled for 12 PM.
