Lupita Nyong’O Lands Her 1st Vogue Cover

We were not exactly shocked to see Lupita Nyong’O covering Vogue because we predicted she would right after we saw her comfortably perched right next to Anna Wintour fashion weeks ago but we didn't know it would come this soon ! LUPITA LANDS HER VOGUE COVER! We can’t get over that!

From her brilliant performance in 12 years a slave to the nominations, the win and the brilliant speeches one after the other and up till she became a fashion icon, landed the face of cosmetics giant Lancome and more in a space of 2 years or less?

The iconic beauty (and brains!) lands the July 2014 edition of the US Vogue and it was all we thought and more. She covered vogue in a magenta Deco-print dress by Prada .

Lupita was stripped, telling all about her continuous rise “It just feels like the entertainment industry exploded into my life,”. She did loads of intense shots for the editorial in Givenchy (of course), Rodarte, Prabal Gurung, J Crew and more; what more can a girl ask for.
