African restaurant makes world's best restaurant list

South African restaurant, The Test Kitchen has made the list of world's best restaurants at the recently concluded 2016 World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards.

Coming in at 22nd position, one spot ahead of Asia's best restaurant, Gaggan, the South African restaurant was the only African restaurant to make the top 50 list.

Topping the list of best restaurants in the world was Italian restaurant, Osteria Francescana while Spain's El Celler de Can Roca came in 2nd place.

New York's Eleven Madison Park was in the 3rd position while Lima's Central and Copenhagen's Noma rounded up the top 5 restaurants.
