Full moons are nothing short of gorgeous (which is kinda why they make the #best Insta post ). I mean, all you have to do is look up at the night sky, and theres a big, bright ball of awesome hanging there.

But in case you didn't know, every full moon has its own special meaning, and the latest one is no exception. On April 19, a full moon in Libra is going down, er, up. This is actually a BFD for a few reasons, but the main one is that its the second full moon in Libra this year, which is a rarity, according to Donna Page , a certified astrologer in Atlanta.

Heres what you can expect from this full moon, plus how it can impact you going forward.

First things first: A full moon is a phase of the moon where the whole disk is illuminated. This full moon is also known as a "Pink Moon," but unfortunately, that doesnt mean the moon will look pink (I know, I'm bummed, too).

Instead, it gets its name from Native Americans who noticed that this full moon brings the appearance of "moss pink" or wild ground phlox, i.e. one of the first spring flowers, according to the Farmers Almanac .

Since this is the second full moon in Libra this year (the last one was the Super Worm Moon on March 20), "its like the universe is giving us this double dose of wanting you to pay attention to your relationships," says Page.

The full moon in Libra is all about fairness, balance in the world, and your personal relationships, she explains. Youll want things to make sense in the world and will feel more than a little pissed off if it feels like theres some injustice going down. (Protest then brunch, anyone?)

At the same time, youll be hyper-focused on making sure your relationships are in balance, Page adds. Are you getting back what youre putting out there? And are you living your life the way you want within the context of your relationships, or is there room for improvement? If things arent quite right, its time to have a chat, whether its with your S.O., BFF, or family members.

According to Page, relationships are (astrologically) crucial to this time of year, so youll also crave time to enjoy special activities with the people you love and to just be able to go out and enjoy life.

Every sign will be impacted by the full pink moon, but Libra, Aries, Capricorn, and Cancer will feel it the most, Page says.

Youll take this time to dive a little deeper into the relationships in your life, which will (surprise, surprise) will make you start to think about the ones that mean the most you, Page says. As a result, you may make a new commitment to put the most effort into the ones you really care about.

Maybe youll end up making a conscious effort to have more date nights with your main squeeze, call your sister more often, or schedule regular nights out with your friends. Whatever this full moon's got in store for you, itll all be good.
