Tempers Flare on the Bench: Star Player and Head Coach in Heated Clash During Game! /VIDEO/

Following a play late in the third quarter, head coach Georgios Bartzokas and star player Sasha Vezenkov engaged in a heated verbal exchange, with both visibly frustrated.

According to Greek media, the Bulgarian forward initially had a disagreement with assistant coach Christos Pappas before Bartzokas stepped in to intervene.

The tension lingered during the break between the third and fourth quarters, with video footage showing Vezenkov getting up and walking away from the rest of the team.

Bartzokas decided to bench him, and Vezenkov did not return to the court until just 1:45 remained in the contest.

Olympiacos ultimately secured an 81-73 victory.

The Bulgarian international logged 24 minutes, leading his team to their sixth win of the season with 16 points (6/11 FG, 2/5 3PT, 2/2 FT), 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Olympiacos entered the clash against Beşiktaş shorthanded, with Nikola Milutinov, Evan Fournier, and Jean Montero all ruled out due to injury.
