The Tech3 KTM MotoGP team has officially announced the signing of Sena Agius from Moto2, marking the beginning of a new era for the premier class starting next year.
The Australian rider will partner Luca Marini in KTM's satellite team, with both riders securing multi-year contracts. With Agius's move to MotoGP now confirmed, the full grid of riders for the 2027 premier class season is complete.
Born in 2005, Agius has been competing in the Motorcycle Grand Prix World Championship since 2022, making a direct jump to Moto2 without racing in Moto3. In his 64 world championship starts, he has achieved eight podium finishes, including four victories. The Australian currently sits fourth in the provisional standings with 149 points, trailing his teammate Manu Gonzalez, who leads the championship, by 83.5 points.
