Tatiana Pinto anticipates 'tough game' against Benfica: 'They have many new players'

Tatiana Pinto spoke on behalf of Juventus ahead of Tuesday's (8 PM BST) Champions League opener against Benfica.

The Portuguese international midfielder, now in her second season in Turin, emphasized her expectation of a demanding match against the Eagles.

"Juventus competes to win every competition. We have a deep squad, and we are all physically prepared to face these challenges. I expect a tough game against Benfica; in football, no two games are the same. They have many new players, and we have also changed our style of play," stated the former Sporting player.

"It's hard to say if we are stronger than last year because we are still at the beginning of the season. We have a squad with many different qualities, and each of us can contribute to achieving our goals. Personally, I don't want to dwell on the past; I always want to help the team in the best way possible. This is a different moment now, we have a different playing style, and I can say I'm very happy to be here. Playing at the Allianz Stadium, especially in the Champions League," the 32-year-old midfielder added during the press conference.
