Tari Eason Agrees to New Five-Year Deal with Houston Rockets

Houston Rockets power forward Tari Eason has inked a new five-year deal, ESPN reports.

The contract is valued at a total of $81.5 million, with the entire sum guaranteed. The deal will officially be finalized in a week, once the 10-day moratorium following the opening of the free agency market expires.

The 25-year-old Eason was selected by Houston as the 17th overall pick in the draft and has spent his entire career with the Rockets to date. Over four seasons, he has averaged 10.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
