Umar Sadiq to play in dream Real Madrid match
Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq has been confirmed to feature in Almeria's first match of the 2022/23 La Liga season against defending champions Real Madrid.
The Nigerian international has been linked with numerous clubs as rumours continue to swirl that he is on his way away from the club.
Despite this, the 25-year-old striker remains with the newly-promoted side and will play in one of the most important matches of the season against Real Madrid.
Umar Sadiq to play Real Madrid
Almeria manager Rubi confirmed on Friday afternoon that Sadiq will play against Real Madrid, comically stating that only if the Nigerian striker stumbles and falls is when he would not play.

Rubik's comments were made known through Spanish news outlet Estadio Deportivo, while giving team updates in his pre-match press conference.
Rubi said about the Super Eagles star: "That's not going to happen for sure. Sadiq will be in the eleven on Sunday unless he stumbles tomorrow and falls. That's all been said."
Three clubs after Umar Sadiq transfer
Furthermore on the Nigerian striker, one of Almeria's managers Mohamed El Assy told Cadena SAR as reported by Estadio Deportivo that two Spanish teams and one club abroad are interested in signing Sadiq.
El Assy said: "Right now there are three teams that are fighting for it, but it will be sold, if it is sold, at the price that we understand.
"They are two teams from Spain and one from abroad, but I cannot say who are the three teams that are competing to win to Sadiq."
Sadiq has been in imperious form since joining Almeria in 2019, bagging 41 goals and 19 assists for the Andalusian club in just 81 appearances.
The Super Eagles striker has been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Villarreal, and Getafe for a possible transfer move.
