The Super Eagles of Nigeria are now 30th in the world, having moved up two places in the latest FIFA rankings.
The Nigerian national team maintain their third position in Africa, with Senegal and Morocco still the top two ranked countries on the continent.
Super Eagles move up in FIFA Rankings despite World Cup Qualifiers heartbreak
The Super Eagles were ranked 32nd in the World on the last rankings in February 2022 and posted a deficit of -5.90 points for the month under review but still managed to climb the table.
Since the last rankings, Nigeria played two matches, the doubleheader World Cup Qualifiers against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The Augustine Eguavoen-led side failed to win either of the matches, playing a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Kumasi.
