Strasbourg snapped their four-match losing streak in Ligue 1 with an emphatic 5-1 home victory over Auxerre. Gessime Yassine netted a late brace for the hosts, who capitalized on a numerical advantage in the final quarter of an hour when the Moroccan struck twice. Strasbourg controlled the first half, though their dominance yielded just a one-goal cushion thanks to Chelsea loanee Dario Essugo.

Martial Godo doubled the advantage in the 55th minute before Conrad Harder converted a penalty on the hour mark to make it 3-0. Cameron Archer pulled one back for the visitors in the 68th minute, but Auxerre's comeback hopes vanished six minutes later when Lamfia Dioubaté was sent off. Yassine extended the lead to 4-1 in the 77th minute before adding his second in the 85th to cap off a commanding win. The result lifts Strasbourg to 10 points, level with Auxerre, placing the two sides 12th and 13th in the standings.
