Spurs Pushing De Zerbi for Immediate Takeover

Tottenham's management is reportedly making every effort to persuade Roberto De Zerbi to take over the team immediately. The Italian is generally open to the prospect of becoming the Spurs manager but prefers to do so in the summer. However, Tottenham is in urgent need of a new manager after parting ways with Igor Tudor yesterday, as widely expected. The club's hierarchy is keen to avoid appointing another interim coach and is pushing to convince De Zerbi to take the reins now, according to multiple sources including the BBC, Fabrizio Romano, and the Daily Mail.

Negotiations are currently underway. Should they fail to convince De Zerbi, Spurs will appoint one of Sean Dyche, Ryan Mason, Harry Redknapp, Tim Sherwood, or even Ben Davies, who is still a Tottenham player, until the end of the season. The names of Adi Hütter, Glenn Hoddle, and Chris Hughton are also being mentioned as potential alternatives.

Tudor's tenure lasted a mere 44 days, and Tottenham is set to appoint its fourth manager in the last year. The team is currently just one point above the relegation zone, making this period crucial for the entire club.
