In Sporting's second training session ahead of their clash with LASK Linz, manager Rui Borges received more unwelcome news, as neither Zeno Debast nor Rodrigo Zalazar trained on the pitch while continuing their recovery from injury.

Without the Belgian centre-back and the Uruguayan midfielder, the Lions' boss led Sunday morning's session with an eye on Wednesday's Champions League matchday 3 fixture, set for an 8:00 pm kick-off at the Estádio José Alvalade.

Neither player, both currently under the care of the club's medical and performance staff, is expected to recover in time for the clash, which also rules out long-term casualty Nuno Santos.

The squad will hold another training session on Monday at the Alcochete Academy.
