The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has assured Barcelona that there will be no overexertion of Lamine Yamal during his international duties in March.

This information comes amidst concerns at the Catalan club, especially after winger Raphinha sustained a thigh injury during Brazil's friendly match against France (1-2) and is expected to be sidelined for approximately five weeks.

On Friday, the young Blaugrana star played 63 minutes in the friendly against Serbia, which Spain won 3-0. Prior to that, Yamal had been training separately from the main national team squad, with his workload limited to sessions on an exercise bike.

According to "Sport," Spanish national team technical director Aitor Karanka personally spoke with Barcelona's sporting director Deco. Karanka reportedly assured the Portuguese official that the Spanish staff would not take any risks with Yamal's health.

It is anticipated that the winger will not play a full match against Egypt tomorrow. This decision has been made with Barcelona's upcoming crucial fixtures against Atlético Madrid in La Liga and the Champions League in mind.
