On Sunday morning, former Brazilian-Spanish footballer Marcos Senna shared an Instagram post with Capdevila, accompanied by the caption: "On our way to another star."

However, the trip to the United States remained uncertain until the very last moment.

On Saturday, Capdevila posted on the social media platform X that he had been denied entry to the country, subsequently appealing to Donald Trump for help.

"You have no idea how much I was looking forward to being there and supporting them alongside my 2010 teammates," he wrote.

Capdevila was part of the Spain squad that won the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The final between Spain and Argentina is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 PM Bulgarian time.
