South Africa's net reserves rise to $41.934 bln in April

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's net gold and foreign exchange reserves rose to $41.934 billion in April from $41.275 billion in March, data from the Reserve Bank showed on Friday.

Gross reserves also increased to $47.043 billion from $46.437 billion but the forward position, which represents the central bank's unsettled or swap transactions, fell to $2.634 billion from $2.702 billion.
