South African power utility Eskom announces power cuts for much of Sunday

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South African power utility Eskom will cut 1,000 megawatts from the grid on Sunday, it said in a statement.

The power cuts would start from 0500 GMT and last until 2000 GMT.
