Artiste gains more followers after death hoax

It wasn't all bad publicity for upcoming singer Skiibii.

After his death scare/hoax on August 14, 2015, Skiibii and his label 5 Star Music have received backlash for the way the situation was handled.

However, one good thing that has come out from all this is that Skiibii's followers on Instagram has increased significantly. In less than two weeks since his death incident Skiibii has gained 8,000 followers.

Shortly after his death was announced, Skiibii had 30,000 followers on Instagram. That amount has grown to 38,000 followers presently. Skiibii released the video to his latest single 'Sampu' today.

While there has been a noticeable increase in his Instagram followership, his new found fame has done little for his music. The singer only has 558 views on his new video on YouTube after it was published early this morning.

On August 20, 2015 Skiibii wrote about his medical condition and denounced what happened on August 14 as a publicity stunt. Artiste manager of 5 Star Music label .
