Jones joined Denver late last season after parting ways with the Dallas Mavericks, making 11 appearances for the Nuggets. He averaged 2.2 points, 1.2 assists, and 1.3 rebounds per game.

In the playoffs, he contributed three points and 1.7 assists per game, but couldn't help Nikola Jokic and his teammates advance past the first round.

Before his stints with Denver and Dallas, Jones played for the Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he began his career.
