NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal is currently visiting Lithuania and is set to attend the clash between Zalgiris and Olympiacos in Kaunas. Previewing the matchup, Shaq shared his thoughts on the stylistic differences between the NBA and the EuroLeague.

The celebrated American is anticipating an electric atmosphere.

"I'm going to watch Zalgiris in the EuroLeague, and there will be 15,000 fans there. They told me if I wanted to rob someone's house, I could do it because everyone is going to be at the game," O'Neal joked.

"I know that fans in Europe truly love basketball. I've only been to one game in Europe and it was a 'wow' experience. I want to see just how crazy this game gets."

According to O'Neal, the main advantage of European basketball is the high intensity and seriousness required from players in every single fixture across the season.

"I know European basketball is a notch better than the NBA. I know I'm going to get criticized for that statement, but in Europe, everybody plays at full throttle for all 36 games. In the NBA, you've got guys taking it easy until the All-Star break or until the playoffs start."

The EuroLeague clash between Zalgiris and Olympiacos is scheduled for Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
