SERBIA – NETHERLANDS: 3x3 Basketballers Face the Olympic Champion in World Cup Quarterfinals /LIVE STREAM/

Serbia is defending its reputation as an absolute powerhouse in 3x3 basketball at this championship. The tournament's progression has shown that our guys arrived in Poland with a clear intention of returning home with the gold medal.

Their first knockout challenge comes against the traditionally formidable and physically imposing Dutch 3x3 team.

Our team secured a significant advantage heading into the decisive weekend. With a dominant performance in the group stage, Serbia successively defeated Austria, Australia, Spain, and Madagascar, achieving a perfect 4-0 record. This secured them first place and a direct ticket to the quarterfinals. This means our 3x3 players bypassed the Round of 16, gaining a much-needed day of rest to recharge and scout their opponent.

On the other hand, the Netherlands recorded a 3-1 score in their group, having been outplayed by Germany in the direct clash for the top spot. Consequently, the Dutch had to play in the Round of 16 on Saturday, where they justified their favorite status against the Czech Republic, securing a comfortable 21:15 victory.

The Netherlands is a team known for its exceptional athletes and relentless fight under the basket, but Serbia possesses something no one else does – extraordinary basketball IQ and trademark composure in crunch time.

The key to victory will lie in solid defense on the two-point line, as we know how dangerous the Dutch can be when they get into a shooting rhythm from distance. If our guys control the rebounds, a semifinal berth and a shot at a medal will be within reach.

The match begins at 6 PM CET and kicks off the quarterfinal program in Warsaw. Live coverage can be followed on RTS 2, as well as on TV Arena Sport Premium 5. A free live stream is also available on FIBA's official YouTube channel, and Sportal will provide text commentary.
