Serbia Through to Semi-Finals After Beating the Netherlands

The Serbian national team had a shaky start to their quarter-final match, allowing their opponents to quickly establish a three-point lead (1:4). However, our basketball players soon found their rhythm and managed to equalize (7:7).

A subsequent run by the Netherlands saw the Eagles fall four points behind (9:13), but they responded emphatically with a massive comeback to take a 15:13 lead. From that point until the end, Serbia maintained their advantage, which at one point stretched to 19:15.

Nevertheless, the Dutch refused to give up, narrowing the gap to a single point (20:19). However, Nemanja Barać scored the decisive final basket, securing Serbia's place in the semi-finals.

Stojačić was the most effective player for our team with nine points, Barać contributed six, Nerandžić five, and Milutinović added one point.
