Mohamed Salah's agent issued a strong statement immediately after his client revealed he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. The news that the superstar is parting ways with the Reds broke last night, despite the Egyptian having signed a new two-year, £400,000-a-week contract almost a year ago.

The 33-year-old iconic Liverpool forward is set to conclude his nine-year tenure at Anfield in May. Following an agreement with Liverpool, Salah will depart the club with a status similar to that of a free agent.

However, his long-time representative, Ramy Abbas Issa, was quick to refute speculation that a next destination for the Egyptian had already been chosen.

"We don't know where Mohamed will play next season, and neither does anyone else. Beware of attention-seekers chasing clicks," Abbas posted on X.

According to the Daily Mail, interest in Salah is anticipated from clubs worldwide. Naturally, the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer are mentioned as potential destinations. His free agent status could also prove enticing for Liverpool's European rivals.
