Saeon Moruda stopped by Pulse TV for a chat about her music and career.
Last year she released an EP, “I Am Saeon”, her deubt body of work which contains songs such as ‘Boogie down’ and ‘Awada ekere’. She talks about the impact of the EP, and what it achieved for her.
“It was not a 100%.” Saeon said. “It went out and I got great reviews about it. A couple of songs on the EP went on the countdown, but in regards to reaching the areas I expected it to reach, and going as far as I thought it would, I don’t thinl it did, and that’s unfortunate.”
2015 has been a year of reset for Saeon, as she seeks to rediscover her sound after the EP with Baseline Music. She also speaks on this on the interview.
“This year has been a turnaround. It started really slow on the forefront, but behind the scenes, I was recording, reinventing myself, recreating myself, remodelling myself and my sound. I decided to just fuse my music with rap.”
