Hesperus, an independent publisher that releases books that have gone out of print or have yet to find an English translator, will issue the former Iraqi president’s novella in December 2016, to mark the 10th anniversary of his execution. Guardian UK reported.

A spokesman for Hesperus described the book as “a mix between Game of Thrones and the UK House of Cards-style fiction”, and said it was full of political intrigue, but that the publisher would be “keeping the rest secret until Christmas”.

The novella's manuscript was originally taken out of Iraq by Hussein's daughter, Raghad, in 2003. It has since seen publication in multiple languages under a whole variety of titles including Devil's Dance, Begone Devils and Get Out, You Damned One.

Hesperus is yet to announce what its English title will be. Independent UK added.

Before his death, Hussein published three novels under the pen name “the Author”. Before the start of the 2003 Iraq War, all of Hussein’s books were on the Iraqi school syllabus.

Since his death, the translation and sale of Hussein’s books has been controversial in many countries, though bootleg copies and translations have sold well. Guardian UK reported
