Rui Borges: «Suárez will perform better than last season»

Rui Borges will hold a press conference this Saturday at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy in Alcochete, previewing the upcoming match against Famalicão, part of the 6th round of the Liga.

When asked about Luis Suárez, who once again found the net in the Champions League against Galatasaray, Rui Borges praised the Colombian striker: «He pushes himself to the limit, and he has to because he's been playing more since Fotis [Ioannidis] unfortunately got injured and missed a game, and Suárez capitalized on that. It's a good problem to have two quality forwards, plus Nel who had a great pre-season. Now, Suárez is returning to his normal physical condition after the World Cup and the inherent wear and tear.»
