Fiji name XV for Rugby World Cup curtain-raiser
Fiji coach John McKee has revealed his line-up for Friday's Rugby World Cup curtain-raiser against England at Twickenham.
The Pacific Islanders will be eager not to roll over for the hosts and have named two England-based players among their starting XV.
Bath scrum-half Nikola Matawalu has recovered from a groin injury to take his place, while Leicester Tigers' Vereniki Goneva starts at outside centre.
Skippered by former Gloucester flanker Akapusi Qera, Fiji will be hoping to call on all that inside knowledge in their bid to cause an upset.
"England is a very strong team and will be a difficult opponent at Twickenham," McKee is quoted as saying by the Fiji Rugby Union website. "We are looking forward to the challenge of this opening game.
"Our players have trained and played well throughout our preparation and must now step up to the high level and intensity we expect on Friday evening and throughout our pool matches."
