Toyota drivers claimed four world titles: two for Kalle Rovanperä (2022 and 2023), Sébastien Ogier in 2025, and Elfyn Evans in 2026. The only disruption to their reign was Thierry Neuville's 2024 triumph with Hyundai.

In the manufacturers' championship, Toyota secured a clean sweep of five consecutive world titles between 2022 and 2026.

Rovanperä closed out the Rally1 era at the top of the charts with 16 WRC victories, narrowly edging Ogier on 15. Ott Tänak, Neuville, and Evans share third place with eight wins apiece. Notably, Ogier ran limited schedules of at least 10 rallies per season, while Rovanperä sat out half of the 2024 campaign and did not contest the WRC in 2026.
