Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano made it clear there's no animosity between them ahead of their Saturday bout. While Thursday's press conference featured a few intense moments, the biggest names on the fight card maintained an entirely professional demeanor.

Rousey and Carano engaged in a restrained staredown on stage, each having offered compliments to the other. They discussed the genesis of this fight and the organization of such a massive event, promoted by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions.

In the co-main event, Nate Diaz and Mike Perry saw no need to escalate tensions before their clash. Throughout the week, Diaz stated he doesn't feel the need to initiate conflicts with opponents, only reacting to what's said about him. Despite Perry promising a spectacular knockout, he also refrained from sharp words towards Diaz before the fight. In fact, the two even exchanged fist bumps after their staredown on stage.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou also went face-to-face with his opponent, Filip Lins. The two are set to meet in the third main card bout. Ngannou, who left the UFC as a free agent, has one MMA victory since his departure from the organization, a knockout win over Renan Ferreira in PFL.

Now, Ngannou will look to build on that success as he faces Lins on Saturday.
