Ballon d'Or winner Rodri has been granted permission by Manchester City to fly to Barcelona today to finalize his transfer to Camp Nou. The two clubs finally reached an agreement last night, after City had previously rejected two offers from the Catalans. Ultimately, they shook hands on a fixed transfer fee of 60 million euros, plus potential bonuses of around 16 million. According to Fabrizio Romano, six million of these bonuses are easily achievable, while the remaining 10 million are considerably more difficult to realize. David Ornstein, however, claims that over 11 million of the aforementioned bonuses are fully attainable, so the Etihad expects to receive around 71.5 million euros. This is considered a good deal, especially given that Rodri's contract with the club was set to expire in less than a year.

Rodri is scheduled for a medical examination today, after which he will sign a four-year contract with Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Manchester City has also agreed to another sale, set to receive 51 million pounds from Al-Qadisiyah for Tijani Reijnders. This move is expected to fund a potential transfer for Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, despite the initial ultimatum set by the London club for potential buyers of the Argentine, for whom they are demanding 120 million pounds, having expired on Friday. The Citizens have already spent 116 million pounds on Elliott Anderson and are on the verge of finalizing the acquisition of Ayub Bouaddi from Lille, for whom they are expected to pay around 85 million. This would see the team's midfield completely revamped.
