Everton fans call for sack of team manager

The fans of Everton football club have called for the dismissal of team coach, Roberto Martinez, over the recent poor performance of the club.

Everton are currently 14th on the English Premier League table, and have gone four consecutive matches without a win.

The fact that Martinez has failed to acknowledge the dismal performance of the team has made fans more angry.

Martinez while commenting on the team's game on Saturday said 'the team is on the up', even as they dropped down the table.

The toffees, as they are often called have seen one of their worst performance this season. The usual team chemistry has failed to surface.

Everton defender, Leighton Baines is clearly aware of this, when he said that the team are lacking chemistry with just six wins in 24 matches.

He later went on to apologise for his comments, but this has no doubt endeared him towards the fans as they name him 'One of Us'.
