The Eagles bested Wembanyama and his teammates 90:87 in Belgrade Arena on Thursday. Now, the two national teams are set to clash again in Orleans, where Dušan Alimpijević has brought 14 players.
The Serbian national team roster will remain largely unchanged from the first match. A notable alteration is the absence of Dejan Davidovac, who will stay in Belgrade as a precautionary measure. Talented Nikola Džepina, who recently won silver with the U20 national team at EuroBasket and earned a spot in the tournament's ideal lineup with his stellar performances, will join the squad.
Here is Dušan Alimpijević's complete roster for the match in France:
Nemanja Dangubić, Aleksa Avramović, Ognjen Dobrić, Jovan Novak, Marko Gudurić, Nikola Milutinov, Nikola Tanasković, Stefan Momirov, Arijan Lakić, Nikola Đurišić, Nikola Jović, Nikola Jokić, Mihailo Petrović, and Nikola Džepina.
The Serbian national team faces two crucial World Cup qualifying matches in the August window. Our team will first host Iceland on August 28th, and three days later, Serbia will visit Italy.
