According to a French report, Real Madrid's medical staff allegedly misdiagnosed Kylian Mbappé's injury, reportedly examining the wrong knee, which angered the French superstar.
A day after Kylian Mbappé declared his knee fully recovered, French network RMC is stirring the pot by revealing a serious medical error on the part of Real Madrid. The report claims the initial diagnosis was incorrect, forcing the footballer to seek a second medical opinion in Paris.
According to French media, Mbappé was infuriated by the initial assessment from the "Los Blancos" doctors. "The diagnosis he received in Madrid was incorrect. Obviously, he didn't like that at all and was very angry," the report states.
Immediately after, the Real forward consulted the distinguished French specialist, Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet. The latter reportedly judged that "the work done in Madrid was not good" and recommended a special treatment program aimed at strengthening the affected knee. This approach proved to be a game-changer, as Mbappé managed to make a full recovery, avoiding surgery.
RMC made an even more shocking revelation, stating: "What we're hearing is that the error was enormous. There are claims that Real Madrid examined the wrong knee." If confirmed, this fact would be a major embarrassment for the club's medical staff. "For Real Madrid, this is a huge embarrassment. I believe that for Mbappé, the worst was avoided," the report concludes.
Mbappé himself confirmed his trip to Paris, stating with relief: "My knee is fine, I have fully recovered. I was lucky to get the right diagnosis when I went to Paris."
