Real Madrid Continues Defensive Reinforcement Efforts, Eyes New Center-Back

Real Madrid is closely monitoring the progress of Stuttgart's 20-year-old center-back, Finn Jeltsch, according to "AS." The German defender has caught the eye of the "royal club" due to his strong performances and significant potential. He is currently valued at 35 million euros, a substantial increase from approximately 5 million just a year and a half ago.

The Santiago Bernabéu continues to pay close attention to the market for central defenders. Currently, José Mourinho has five players in this position: Dean Huijsen, Ibrahima Konaté, Raúl Asensio, Antonio Rüdiger, and Éder Militão. Rüdiger's contract is in its final year, while concerns persist regarding Militão due to the severe injuries he has sustained. This is precisely why the club continues to scout promising options for the future.

Jeltsch is a right-sided center-back, standing 188 centimeters tall, who stands out for his confidence in ball distribution and his ability to drive play forward. He joined Stuttgart in January 2025 and quickly became a key player. This season, he has already made his Champions League debut, and his excellent form earned him his first call-up to the German national team under new manager Jürgen Klopp.
