This law professor's explanation for why #BlackLivesMatter is the best thing ever

A recently surfaced photo on the Internet captures the following story: A group of first-year law students complained when a law professor wore a "Black Lives Matter" shirt to class.

The students wrote, “The ‘Black Lives Matter’ statement is racist and anti-law enforcement and has been known to incite violence in this country. As someone who is paid to teach the law, you should be ashamed of yourself,” among other arguments against the professor’s choice of wardrobe.

And the professor responded brilliantly turning the letter into a teachable moment, doling out an apparently much-needed explanation for why "Black Lives Matter" matters.

She also took the time to correct them on how they could propose a stronger argument for sake of their future law careers.
