DJ Cuppy explains why she is going on African tour

Celebrity DJ, DJ Cuppy had an exclusive interview with Pulse TV this week.

In the insightful interview she told Pulse why she is embarking a continent wide tour so early in her career.

"It's always a dream I have had. I think it is so important to always not follow a sort of trend. I think my brand speaks of adventure, ambition, a bit of craziness as well so I am making my own blueprint. And for me it is really all about sending a clear message. I think already being a  female DJ in a male dominated industry is so unique. So I have my own unique formula of doing things" she said.

Cuppy also said she is keen to discover other brands in Africa during her tour.

"And for me it is not sort of only going out there trying to build my brand. It is also very much going and discovering brands around Africa."

DJ Cuppy's tour 'Cuppy Takes Africa' starts tomorrow (August 1) at the Federal Palace Hotel. The concert will feature DJ Caise, DJ Obi, DJ Xclusive, DJ Olu, DJ Hazan, DJ Nana, Legendary Beatz, Young John, Ikon,Pheelz, Studio Magic, Spellz, Leriq, and DJ Jimmy Jatt.

During the tour DJ Cuppy will hit Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa.
