The singer who recently dropped the visuals for her single with M.I ‘Lorry’, stopped by Pulse TV studios for an interview where she talked about her forthcoming project.

“I have been on this for a while now. The last time I dropped an album, it’s been years now.” Chidinma said.

Chidinma disclosed that her sophomore album is almost ready, and would have been released in September. She opted not to, due to the volume of albums set to drop in the month.

Over 8 artistes are set to drop their LPs this month, with Iyanya and Orezi, and Samklef already celebrating the release of theirs. Jesse Jagz, Davido, and many others are finalising plans to release their projects.

“There should be an album this year. Like I said, we have been on it for a while. But then September is kinda choked already, lots of artistes are dropping albums. If it doesn’t drop this September, I will probably move it to towards the end of the year.” She further disclosed.

In 2011, Chdinma released her first solo single 'Jankoliko' featuring Sound Sultan. "Chidinma", her self-titled debut studio album, was released through the music platform Spinlet. It was supported by the singles 'Jankoliko', 'Carry you go', 'Kedike' and 'Run Dia Mouth'.
