Our new discovery is Mary Akpa.

Akpa makes music encapsulated with a story. The singer has a smooth trance-like voice that draws you into her lyrics and her world. Scanning through her Souncloud channel, the first song she posted was three years ago - titled ‘Brave’. The singer’s silky voice intertwined with guitar strings and resolute lyrics.

The Nigerian born vocalist exhibits the diversity of her voice on ‘Don’t stand in my way’ a futuristic R&B song containing rhythmic beats and muted electro sounds.
