Change they say is inevitable, change starts a chain of reaction that either leads you to a better path or leaves you deep in your indecision; this is what the book “who moved my cheese “ is all about.

Man constantly look for reasons to justify why things happen, constantly searching for deeper meaning in things that are as simple as what they really are, “a simple change”. The 95 paged book offers more than its number of leaves, it explores how man resist change and refuses to acknowledge it.

The Author, Spenser Johnson MD not only used simple words to point out his views but wrote the book in a conversation setting  such that you get drawn into the discussion without realizing .

The book focuses on four fictional characters and their journey to finding a new cheese after they suddenly realized their cheese had been “moved”.   The book progressed into decisions each of these characters took in response to this change.

The characters depict how human tend to respond or react to a major change in their lives; the book subtly draws you in such that you can accurately pick out which of the four characters represents you.

Og Mandino, Author of ” The greatest salesman in the world” said, “follow the wise advice you discover in this great book”, because the book is flexible enough to be applied to any situation. It is easy to understand, insightful and eye opener.

A close friend of mine confided in me on some issues she was going through, it seemed like things were falling apart in her career. She was constantly having issues with her superior and kept wondering what she did wrong or who was behind the problem so I recommended this book.

Half way through the book, she immediately knew what was wrong; nobody was after her , her boss did not hate her, it was all a simple case of “change”

Several changes had been happening around her and she had been blinded, too preoccupied in her search for the "cause" that she failed to see the real reason for the friction. Two weeks after reading the book, she took a critical look at her situation, her environment and made major decisions. Her life changed.

If you are in a dilemma on whether to leave your comfort zone for the unknown or to stick to how things presently operate then you need to read this book. Are you afraid of what the other side holds? Would things get better or worse? Are you stuck in your present predicament and only “hoping “for things to get better if you are “patient” enough?  Then you need this book to properly evaluate your life.
