Prayer to St. Michael

Here is the St. Michael prayer against evil:

"Saint Michael Archangel,

defend us in battle,

be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil;

may God rebuke him, we humbly pray;

and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,

by the power of God, cast into hell

Satan and all the evil spirits

who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen."

Reportedly, Pope Leo XIII composed this prayer in 1886 after a particularly scary vision of a conversation between Jesus and Satan. Since then, this prayer has been highly recommended by Catholics and even exorcists.
