Powerful Duo Back Together? Milwaukee Receives Enticing Offer for Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo is almost certainly set to depart Milwaukee this summer, with the team awaiting the best offer for the two-time NBA MVP. A very attractive proposal has now arrived from Portland, who appear serious about bringing the Greek international into their ranks.

According to NBA insider Evan Sideri, the Trail Blazers have emerged as the first team to table a concrete and highly enticing offer for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Portland's proposal reportedly includes promising young guard Scoot Henderson, veteran forward Jerami Grant, and Yang Hansen. Crucially, the trade package also features first-round draft picks for the next five years, a particularly attractive asset for a team in a rebuilding phase.

Portland has not previously been mentioned among the potential destinations for Antetokounmpo, who has frequently been linked with the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, and Memphis Grizzlies. However, none of those franchises have yet presented a tangible offer, unlike the Oregon-based team.

Should Giannis indeed land in Portland, he would reunite with Damian Lillard, who played for Milwaukee from 2023 to 2025. Their previous collaboration in Wisconsin, however, wasn't particularly fruitful, leaving many to wonder if they'll get a second chance to make it work. Antetokounmpo would also be reunited with former teammate Jrue Holiday, with whom he led the Bucks to the 2021 championship.

Adding Deni Avdija and Shaedon Sharpe to the mix would provide the Trail Blazers with an excellent foundation for contending at the highest level.
