Tobias Harris led the offensive charge with 19 points, while Dennis Jenkins put on an exceptional display, orchestrating the Pistons' offense with 16 points and 14 assists. Jalen Duren also made a significant contribution, adding 16 points and seven rebounds, with Ausar Thompson chipping in another 14 points.

Detroit (56-21) clinches the No. 1 spot in the East for the first time since the 2006-07 season and has already secured the Central Division title, a feat not achieved since 2007-08. The Pistons are in stellar form, having won 12 of their last 15 games.

Notably, both Harris and Duren were listed as questionable before tip-off but played and made a crucial difference. Furthermore, Detroit continues to perform at a high level even without Cade Cunningham, boasting an 8-2 record in games he has missed due to a collapsed lung.

For the 76ers, Tyrese Maxey was the leading scorer with 23 points, while Paul George added 20, continuing his productive run since returning from a 25-game suspension for violating the league's substance policy. V.J. Edgecombe also contributed 19 points.

Philadelphia played without Joel Embiid, who was sidelined due to injury management and illness in the second game of a back-to-back, despite the 76ers having won eight of their previous eleven games. The game was competitive in the first half, with the Pistons taking a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter before the 76ers tied it in the second.

However, a decisive 15-4 run before halftime gave Detroit control, and they extended their lead to as much as 26 points in the second half, comfortably sealing the victory. Next up, the Pistons travel to Orlando, while the 76ers begin a three-game road trip in San Antonio.
