Pilot dies while crashing a plane in a bid to kill his wife

It was reported that Viljoen stole the aircraft after he stormed out of the clubhouse where his wife was attending a baby shower.

Daily Mail reports that he made a number of threatening fly-pasts and a menacing phone call to someone at the club, prompting guests to flee for safety.

In a video shared online, the pilot was seen flying the plane barely above ground before the crash.
