A high-scoring affair was widely expected, and the two emerging EuroLeague powerhouses did not disappoint. Dubai were determined to bounce back following their defeat to Paris, while Hapoel aimed to keep their winning streak alive.
Ultimately, it was the UAE-based side that came out on top. Xavi Pascual's men proved to be the superior team, taking control of what initially promised to be a tight contest.
Dubai built a double-digit lead in the second quarter, and although Dimitris Itoudis' side fought back just before halftime, the hosts quickly restored their advantage and managed the cushion comfortably through to the final buzzer.
Filip Petrusev led the way for Dubai with 20 points, supported by Dwayne Bacon and Elie Okobo, who added 16 apiece. On the other end, Vasilije Micic posted 15 points, while Dan Oturu finished with 14.
