Handling jealousy on social media can be very tricky and even the most cautious can fall as a result of one horrible comment made.
Imagine you were on social media and you stumble upon photos of your friends at an event you were clearly not invited to. You're bound to feel jealous, hurt and react brashly as a result. But what do you do in this case?
According to life coach, Marie Dubuque, "instead of expressing jealousy on social media, it's to find a new set of friends to hang out with, take photos with your new friends and post them on social media too".
That is one way to get back at them if you are feeling vengeful.
In another case, you don't want to be too dependent on them which is why feeling jealous that you weren't invited by them shouldn't affect you too much. Learn to carve a niche for yourself as this will help you grow and be self-sufficient.
You do not have to worry about your friends excluding you from a party if you have another set of friends to have fun with.
