Penarroya Reveals Who's Out for Season Opener, Declares: "We Must Fight Every Day, Against Everyone!"

At this moment, Vanja is out of the squad, as is Joffrey.

We have to fight every day. Every day against everyone. And I believe it's imperative to fight all the time on the court. But we also need to play good basketball. It's clear that it's too early for everyone – for Partizan, for Milan, for other teams. But tomorrow, we must play well, compete effectively, play tough defense, and if possible, with rhythm in offense. We'll see. I think we are ready to compete, but it's clear that we are not at 100% at this moment.

For me, the most important thing during the preseason is the players' attitude towards work. I think we trained very well. In games, it's clear we had both good and bad periods, but I am satisfied with the players' attitude and the level at which they are working.

We are excited for the season to start, to open it at home, in front of our fans, and to play a EuroLeague game. Milan is a very good team; they have a serious roster and very high-quality players – Darius Thompson, Cole, Hall, Gudurić, Peters, Moses Wright… They also have many Italian national team players. They are a very stable team. We want to show our fans that this season we intend to fight and be competitive against everyone. Tomorrow is the first opportunity to demonstrate that.
