At the start of the press conference, Peñarroya stated that he was very pleased with how his team performed against Paris, especially after the hosts opened the game with a 10-0 run.

We are happy with this big win, especially on the road and because we responded well after a poor start to the game. In the end, I think we controlled the match quite well. We played together as a team without several key players, but the most important thing is that we got the victory. This is the way we need to play. Joan Peñarroya

He then addressed the fan support. According to initial estimates, there were around 3,000 Partizan supporters inside Paris's Adidas Arena.

The fans' support means a great deal to us. It is an honor to coach a team like this. It was similar last year; there are always plenty of Partizan supporters in Paris. Joan Peñarroya

Finally, he was asked about how his squad managed to contain Nadir Hifi, who was held to just 15 points—a modest tally by his standards.

Paris has excellent players, and I am pleased with how we stopped Hifi because he is very difficult to contain. We worked together defensively and racked up a lot of steals, which is crucial for us. Joan Peñarroya

Partizan's basketball team defeated Paris 92-79 on the road tonight in Round 2 of the EuroLeague.

Carlik Jones led Partizan with 20 points, while Luca Vildoza added 16. For the hosts, Nadir Hifi was the top performer with 19 points.

Partizan has recorded two wins across the opening two rounds of the EuroLeague, while Paris stands at 0-2.

The Black-and-Whites will visit Bayern in Round 3 on Friday, while Paris hosts Žalgiris a day earlier.
