Pedro Porro: Playing in a match like this is a dream I've had since childhood

Spain's right-back Pedro Porro expressed his immense joy after the team qualified for the World Cup Round of 16 following their 3-0 victory over Austria. The defender, who was one of the goalscorers in the match, emphasized that this success is built on serious hard work, and the feeling of being on the pitch in such a game is indescribable.

“I am very happy. A tremendous amount of hard work stands behind this. The team won, and I was speechless. Playing in a match like this is a dream I've had since childhood. With each game, we understand each other better and better on the field. We are moving forward to the next round,” Porro shared.

The defender also addressed the criticism, unequivocally stating that the team is not influenced by external factors and is completely confident in its abilities.

“People have their opinions. We've been doing our job since day one. We believe in ourselves, and what others say is worthy of respect. At the World Cup, you face the best, so now we are fully focused on the next round,” concluded the Spanish defender.
