Passengers flee as plane bursts into flames while still in tarmac

A plane reportedly caught fire at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida airport today, sending passengers fleeing for their lives out of the aircraft's emergency slides.

Everyone was safely taken off the plane but about seven people were injured while three people were sent to the hospital.

The cause of the fire that broke out on the plane is yet to be ascertained.

Photos of the burnt and charred parts of the plane tell a very disturbing story and the passengers are also lucky to be alive.

Fortunately, there were no loss of lives.
